Adobe Contribute is a web publishing and website management tool used by Temple University departments.
Adobe Contribute is used by departmental website administrators and content contributors to publish and manage departmental websites that are hosted on Temple's legacy Web Complex.
For Website Administrators
If you are a website administrator and need to set up your web site to use Contribute for the first time, please submit a request for assistance by clicking the Request Help tab on the Computer Services home page. A Computer Services web consultant will contact you.
For Content Contributors
If you are a content contributor and need access to your site, contact your department's website administrator. If you already have access follow the connection steps under Connecting.
- Open Contribute, enter connect:www-dev.temple.edu on the address bar, and then press Enter.
- When prompted, enter your AccessNet Username and Password.
Check the box titled, Trust this server, and then click OK.
Note: If you do not see the Trust this server check box, continue to enter your login information, and then click OK.
- Upon successful login, the websites for which you have access will appear under "Begin editing my websites"
Select the website that you want to edit to commence browsing, editing, and publishing.
Note: All edits will be done directly on Temple's web development server.
To make your site live, use the File Transfer Utility (FTU).
Note: Only a website administrator can use the File Transfer Utility to make the site live.
