Classroom Capture (Echo 360)

Echo 360 is a classroom capture system installed in Echo 360 enabled lecture rooms and smart classrooms at Temple University.

Overview

Echo 360 is a classroom capture system that is installed in several lecture rooms and smart classrooms at Temple University.  Echo 360 records a presentation from the computer desktop screen and audio that can be viewed online through Blackboard or other websites.  Some lecture halls and smart classrooms have a camera to capture and record classroom participants.

Access

To schedule and record a classroom presentation or to obtain access as a scheduler, please submit your request by clicking the Request Help tab on the Computer Services home page.

Authorized schedulers can visit https://capture.temple.edu:8443/ to schedule and capture a presentation in Echo 360 enabled smart classrooms.

Students can access recorded lecture and presentations through their assigned Blackboard course.

Support

Please submit all support questions by clicking the Request Help tab on the Computer Services home page or by calling the Help Desk at 215-204-8000.

For help in an Echo 360 enabled lecture hall or classroom, please contact the assigned Classroom Support Specialist.  

Students may consult their professors for the location of recorded classroom lectures or presentations within their assigned Blackboard course.

Policies

Computer Services will store content on the system for two years after the initial upload. After two years, content will be automatically deleted. To request an extension to this limit, submit a request by clicking the Request Help tab on the Computer Services home page.
