Outlook Web App
You can access your Exchange account through the TUmail website. The interface will be the Outlook Web App. To learn more, see Starrt using Outlook Web App for email and calendars.

Below are a few tips to consider when using the Outlook Web App that you access through the TUmail website or TUportal:
Conversation View is turned on by default. If you are having trouble finding your messages, turn Conversation View off by clicking Conversations by Date near the top of the screen. Then under Conversations, click off.
Hide Folder Panel
To increase the room on the screen to more easily view messages, you can hide the folder panel by clicking the >> symbol on the upper left portion of the screen.
New Window Icon
You can create a mail message in a new window by clicking the open in new window icon on the upper right portion of the compose message screen.
The default setting of your screen display has the reading pane on the right. To have the reading pane appear at the bottom, click the gear icon on the upper right portion of the screen and select Display Settings.
Then select reading pane, then Show reading pane at bottom, and OK.
Depending on which folder you have open, the Outlook Web App will search by Keyword, and will also search the From or To fields. To search the Subject, enter subject:term (for example, subject:holiday). For more details on search, see Search Mail and People in Outlook Web App.
Junk E-mail Folder
It's a good idea to regularly check your Junk E-mail folder to determine if you wish to keep any of the messages flagged as spam. If you see a message that is not spam:
- Outlook: Right-click on the message, select Junk, then Not Junk and finally OK to trust the email address. The message will be moved to your Inbox and placed at the date and time it was received.
- Outlook Web App: Right-click on the message, select Mark as not junk and then select either to report or not report it to Microsoft. The message will be moved to your Inbox and placed at the date and time it was received.
If you are getting spam in your Inbox:
- Outlook: Right-click on the spam message, select Junk, then Block Sender and finally OK to mark messages from that sender as spam. The message will be moved to your Junk or Spam folder.
- Outlook Web App: Right-click on the message, select Mark as junk and then select either to report or not report it to Microsoft. The message will be moved to your Junk or Spam folder.
