Google Drive enables you to create, store and access your files from anywhere. You can change your word processing documents, spreadsheets, forms, and presentations, on the website, your computer, or on your mobile device. You can share these documents with your classmates and/or colleagues, and work on them together online. Even if you created documents using Microsoft Office, you can store them online in Google Drive.
Note: You may see a message about Google discontinuing the local Drive app for Mac and Windows computers. In this case, Google is referring only to the local app – also called Google Drive - that allows you to synch files. The cloud-based service where you store your files using your Gmail account and a web browser is not going away.
Google Chat lets you communicate in real-time with your friends or family via text chat or voice and video chat.
Google Maps is a web mapping service application that powers services such as the Google Maps website, Google Ride Finder, Google Transit, and maps embedded on third-party websites via the Google Maps API.
