Tech Bits: Use Google to Perform a Reverse Image Search

Did you know you can use an image rather than words to perform a Google search? Google analyzes the image and displays results, including relevant pages, similar images, and pages with matching images.

The success of your search depends on the nature of the image you use. For example, you may have more success with well-known landmarks and photos of subjects commonly found online than with other types of images.

Tech Bits: Take a Screenshot of your phone or tablet (Faculty & Staff)

You know can take a screenshot of your computer but did you also know that you can take a screenshot of your phone or tablet? Here's how:

Phone, iPad or iPod touch
Press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button on the top or side of your device, then press and release the Home button. To view the screenshot, go to the Photos app, select Albums and then Camera Roll.


Tech Bits: Reserve a Breakout Room Online! (Students)

The breakout rooms in the Main Campus TECH Center, Health Sciences Center TECH Center and Tuttleman Computer Center are filling up fast during this busy time of the semester. If you need to work with a group or practice a presentation, you can easily reserve a breakout room online.
