Things to Know
  • Do not forward your extension to an extension without voice mail. Calls will be lost. The reverse is also true--forwarding an extension without voice mail into an extension with voice mail will exit calls from the system, again resulting in lost calls.
  • After you leave a message, press the pound key (#) to complete your message. If you do not do this, your message will be considered unfinished and may be delayed from reaching its destination.
  • You can only forward messages to another standard (not VoIP) telephone. Similarly, a person using a VoIP phone cannot forward voicemail messages to a standard telephone.
